## Network of Networks Presentation

—

## Vision and Foundations

WeAreOneW.A.O.W. is a network of networks founded on contemporary paradigms of dynamic complex systems that structure all Living systems. These same principles have organized matter and energy for billions of years, from molecules to galaxies, encompassing cells, plants, animals, human beings, societies, ecosystems, and planets.

These structures and processes enable groups of human beings to cooperate in generating and nurturing the creation and autonomous growth of a new organizational model based on self-organization and self-replication.

WeAreOneW.A.O.W. builds upon the participation of existing networks such as the Capra Course and the Work That Reconnects Network, which already apply these principles, as well as all individuals and institutions wishing to connect and cooperate to evolve together.

**Historical note:** This project, initially named G.A.I.A. (Global Awakening Ideas & Actions) in the 1990s, used biological terminology (Cells, Organs, Organisms). The current mathematical formulation proves clearer, more neutral, and universal.

## Network Architecture

### Circles

A Circle is a group of human beings who freely constitute themselves, with the purpose and objectives they have freely chosen, for a limited or indefinite duration.

**Composition:** Numerous studies and experiments demonstrate that beyond individuals, pairs, and triads, groups of 4 to 12 people represent particularly effective scales for communication, idea production, and action. The optimal number may vary depending on the people involved, the type of activity, and the pursued objectives.

**Flexibility:** Each Circle freely determines its size (generally between 1 and 30 members) and its functioning. Members are invited to be creative and experiment with new ways of organizing their collaboration.

**Replication process:** When a Circle reaches a size that complicates its internal communication, its members may choose to gradually prepare, with newcomers, to transform into two Circles. One or more members then ensure connections between the two new Circles. This division-replication process remains an adaptive suggestion, not an obligation.

**Coordination:** If this process multiplies, one or two people from each Circle may meet to form a coordination Circle within the emerging Sphere.

### Spheres

When a certain number of Circles and individuals become involved in the same activities or share a common communication network, creating a Sphere becomes appropriate and recommended.

**Structure:** Just as a Circle gathers individuals, a Sphere gathers Circles. It includes specialized Circles that play coordination and connection roles at the Sphere level, as well as communication with other Spheres.

**Fractal principle:** The Sphere reproduces at its scale the organizational principles of the Circle, enabling structural coherence at all network levels.

### Vectors & Cores

Vectors are Circles with a specific role in the network ecosystem. They specialize in:

– Communication between different Circles or different Spheres
– Supporting newcomers
– Assisting any element requesting support
– Verifying and intervening when difficulties are signaled somewhere in the network

Other types of specialized Circles exist from the start (notably coordination Circles). These structures and their operational modalities will be detailed in subsequent versions of this document.

### Galaxies

A Galaxy is a set of Spheres, constituting a higher organizational level in the network’s fractal architecture.

**Emergence:** This type of structure is created when a significant number of Spheres and Circles share common objectives, a denomination, or any other relevant reason to assemble at this scale.

**Function:** The Galaxy also includes Circles and individuals whose role is exercised only at this organizational level. It also offers a flexible structure allowing existing organizations to participate in the project while effectively interacting with other network elements.

## Participation Modalities

### Paradigms, Values, and Principles

Every network element operates within the framework of WeAreOneW.A.O.W.’s paradigms, values, principles, and operational modes, or according to a clearly specified functioning defined at its creation (for example, via an intention and process declaration).

We encourage autonomy, freedoms and creativity – with mutual respect, justice and honesty, respect for Nature, and with a constructive spirit of cooperation and harmony – to the extent possible and according to the reality of each context and the evolution of events.

### Partners

Welcome to participate or cooperate with WeAreOneW.A.O.W.:

– Individuals
– Associations
– Media
– NGOs
– Cooperatives
– Small, medium, and large enterprises, including multinationals
– Public institutions (schools, municipalities, councils at all levels)
– Any other structure wishing to contribute

**Integration flexibility:** Even if their structure, functioning, or objectives do not entirely correspond to those of WeAreOneW.A.O.W., these human groupings are nevertheless welcome to cooperate with us. They may adopt a particular status, or people working within them can constitute a communication Circle to interact with network elements.

## Perspectives and Development

Future versions of this presentation will propose:

– More detailed explanations of self-organization processes
– Proven methodologies
– Modifiable templates to build together this new mode of organization and cooperation among humans, and between humans and their environment

**Realization condition:** It is necessary that a few people already understanding these principles gather to establish coherent and comprehensible foundations that will then enable continuing this adventure with all those who wish to participate, regardless of their cultures and the institutions, companies, or countries of which they are already members.
